Every choice you make has a consequence. During the teen years, identity is important. Often you define yourself by your activities and associations, your abilities and your desires. Relationships with the opposite sex become more plausible, but potentially detrimental too. A romance can get you to do, feel and think things you wouldn’t have if you decided to wait.
Most of the "voices" heard in this world encourage teen romance, living for the moment, pleasure over principle and fast living. These things may be appealing and make good movies and video games, but are seeds that don’t reap rewards for the future. Plan your life wisely, listen to the wisdom around you. Close your eyes and believe in goodness and truth and the particular wonderful plan for your life. Have faith, know that mistakes are valuable oppurtunities for learning. Trust in God, He’ll see you through.
